Rooted in the noisy spirit of ’90s rock, Of All Things have made their mark with powerful, melodic alternative rock. Drawing inspiration from bands like Kent, Foals and Sonic Youth, they evoke a sense of nostalgia while keeping one foot planted in the present. Known for their high-energy live performances, the band has, since forming in 2020, established themselves as a promising name on the Norwegian rock scene.
Of All Things have performed at industry festivals such as Vill Vill Vest, by:Larm, Trondheim Calling and Live At Heart (SE), as well as venues including Hulen, Samfundet, SALT, Kulturhuset in Oslo and Vulkan. In the summer of 2025, they also appeared at festivals like Malstrømfestivalen, Rockstream and the first edition of Tundra and Lightning at USF Verftet in Bergen.
Their songs explore societal themes such as class division and structural challenges, catching the attention of both critics and the audience. Their previous EP received great reviews, including radio airplay and recognition from NRK P3, where they were also named «Månedens Urørt» with the single Disco Biscuits.
In the fall of 2024, they released their debut album Falling In Line With The Person In Front Of You, which has also received lots of positive feedback—playlisting on P3, P13, Album of the Week, and recommendations from GAFFA, Dagsavisen, among others. They were also named one of the Top 3 Artists to look out for in 2024 by Musikknyheter.
Now, the band is diving into a rawer, grittier sound as they prepare to release their second EP in the fall of 2026.
